About the role
The Materials Manager oversees the procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and components to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, procurement, or similar roles.
Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software for data-driven decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for vendor and team interactions.
Knowledge of logistics, supply chain principles, and lean manufacturing practices.
What you'll own
Develop and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and meet production demands.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials through effective communication.
Lead negotiations for material purchases and maintain vendor relationships to reduce costs.
Oversee warehouse operations, including organization, safety compliance, and efficient material flow.
Analyze material usage data and costs to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies.
Collaborate with production teams to forecast material requirements and align with production schedules.
