Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent
Significant experience in internal audit, with management experience
Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and regulatory frameworks
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities
What you'll own
Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments
Lead and supervise audit teams in conducting comprehensive audits
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes
Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
