A GL Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in a general ledger accounting role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
What you'll own
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Support internal and external audit processes
