About the role
The Fund Accounting Expert/Supervisor at Citi is responsible for participating in fund valuation activities within the Operations, Transaction Services team, focusing on calculating daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and distributing associated unit prices. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Warsaw.
Do you fit?
4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related business area
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in a related area
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications; detail-oriented
What you'll own
Monitor team work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of fund activities, including calculation of NAVs and distribution factors
Process daily work in a timely and accurate manner and act as an escalation point for questions and research
Review associates' work and provide sign-off for complex transactions or sensitive clients
Assist in developing training materials and training employees
Ensure procedures and controls are followed and the integrity of the data processing environment is maintained
Support and oversee overall fraud quality control both monetary and non-monetary; assist the manager in identifying the need for and implementing procedural changes
