Data & Analytics Consultant / Analyst for the Resources Industry

A Data & Analytics Consultant/Analyst serving the Resources Industry, helping clients in the resources space convert data into practical insights. The role blends technical data capabilities with sector knowledge to aid stronger business decisions.

Responsibilities

   Examine extensive datasets from mining, oil and gas, or other resources activities to surface trends and insights

   Create and develop data models, dashboards, and reports for client stakeholders

3. 3

   Engage with clients to grasp their data difficulties and turn business requirements into technical solutions

4. 4

   Assist with data quality reviews, cleansing, and integration across source systems

5. 5

   Team up with cross-functional groups to deliver analytics solutions and encourage adoption

6. 6

   Share findings and recommendations with both technical and non-technical listeners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, statistics, computer science, or a comparable discipline

• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and languages including SQL, Python, or R

• Acquaintance with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with a careful eye for detail

• Superb communication and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with the resources, mining, or energy industry is a plus
