Junior Analyst in Automotive team

About the role

Junior Analyst in the Automotive team helps deliver data-driven projects for automotive clients by gathering, processing and analysing information to produce insights that can be acted upon. The position blends analytical tasks with working together across project teams from different functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's qualification in data science, statistics, economics, engineering or a similar discipline

• Solid command of SQL and spreadsheet software, plus practical experience with at least one analytical programming language like Python or R

• Foundational knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities with a careful eye for detail

• Solid English communication skills in writing and in speech

• Keenness to pick up automotive industry processes and data standards

Responsibilities

   Gather, tidy and prepare large volumes of data coming from internal and external sources so they are ready for analysis

   Create and keep up to date reports, dashboards and data models that back business decisions

   Carry out exploratory and statistical analysis to find trends, patterns and anomalies connected to automotive operations

   Help set and monitor key performance indicators used on client projects

5. 5

   Write up analytical workflows, methods and conclusions for both technical and non-technical audiences

   Work alongside consultants and client teams to turn business questions into analytical solutions
